Specie and Location of Tree

Tree ID 7603       A Silver Birch tree approximately 13m in height, situated on the near left-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is becoming a little tall for its location.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID 7603       Crown Reduction: Reduce overall height by a maximum of 2m, pruning back to appropriate lateral growth points to maintain a natural, flowing canopy outline.  Lateral Pruning: Prune back overhanging growth extending toward the neighbouring property (No. 72) by up to 0.5m.Standard of Work: All operations to be carried out in accordance with BS 3998:2010.  Finished pruning should ensure the natural form and habit of the species is retained, avoiding a pollarded effect.
