Species and Location of Trees

Tree ID 7383      A Lawsons Cypress tree approximately 7m in height, situated on the left-hand side at the end of the rear garden.  The tree is losing definition with an invasion of bamboo growth.

Tree ID 7384      A Holly tree approximately 4m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is a little out of shape.

Tree ID 7385      A Strawberry tree approximately 3.5m in height, situated central in the front garden.  The tree is a little wide spreading.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID 7383      Remove Bamboo growth under tree, remove dead wood and gently re-shape the top by reducing up to 60cm in places.

Tree ID 7384      Gentle re-shape only by reducing some stems by up to 30cm.

Tree ID 7385      Reduce lateral growth by 50cm back to suitable growth points. Remove one larger internal stem growing toward the centre of the garden to manage the spread. The lower canopy is to be lifted and balanced using hand-pruning techniques (secateurs only) to maintain a neat, formal appearance and promote healthy regrowth.
