Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A dead tree approximately 5m in height, situated against the fence on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.

T2.          A multi-stemmed Prunus tree approximately 5m in height, situated in a central location towards the bottom of the rear garden and to the rear of a trampoline.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Remove by felling at ground level.

T2.          Remove together with the roots grubbed out where possible.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Crataegus prunifolia        (Cockspur Thorn)

Amelanchier lamarckii    (Snowy Mespilus)

Sorbus aucuparia              (Rowan)

The tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 12-14 cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 2.5m.  The replacement tree should be planted during the November 2021 and March 2022 planting season.
