Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Eucalyptus tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the right-hand side close to the bottom boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is too large for the small rear garden.

T2.          Two False Acacia trees approximately 10-12m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary towards the bottom of the rear garden.  The trees are a little dense.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Remove and the stump ground out or poisoned.

T2.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of (T1) above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three-alternative species for consideration:

Koelreuteria paniculate                 (Pride of India)

Sorbus aria ‘Majestica’                  (variety of Whitebeam)

Crataegus prunifolia                        (Cockspur Thorn)
