Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          Three Ornamental Pear trees approximately 6m in height, situated on the front boundary with Winterbrook Road.  The trees are a little too tall.

T2.          A Wild Plum tree approximately 6m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T3.          A Cherry tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary towards the bottom of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T4.          A Cherry tree approximately 4m in height, situated close to a large Ceanothus shrub on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is badly sited.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Reduce in height by approximately 20% and re-shaped as more compact specimens.

T2.          Crown reduce all round by 25% to form a more compact specimen.

T3.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T4.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.
