Village Way, 6

Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          Two Eucalyptus trees approximately 15m and 10m in height, situated in the rear garden, and in very close proximity to the house.  The trees are considered to be sited far too close to the property.

T2.          A Weeping Willow tree approximately 18m in height, situated in a central location towards the bottom of the rear garden.  The tree is a little tall and dense.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Both trees to be removed and the roots either grubbed out or poisoned.

T2.          Crown thin by approximately 30% including the removal of dead wood, lifting of low branches, and the necessary shaping of the tree.  The height may be reduced by up to 30% by removing the vertical growth in the upper crown whilst retaining the natural weeping shape.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points where possible.

Details of Replacement Required

None.  Replacement trees are not necessary as the garden is well stocked with mature trees.
