Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removal of Tree ID 8030 above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Prunus ‘Pandora’ (Small Pink flowering Cherry)
Prunus ‘Amanogawa’ (Flagpole Cherry)
Malus toringo (Japanese Crab Apple)
The new tree should be planted during the October 2026 and March 2027 planting season with a stem girth of between 10-12cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 2m.
To ensure the new tree thrives, it must be supported with a suitable stake to prevent "wind-rock" while the roots establish. The tree will require regular watering during the first two growing seasons, specifically from April to September. Please note that if the tree dies or becomes diseased within five years of planting, it must be replaced with a new specimen of the same specification.
