Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          Two False Acacia trees approximately 12m in height, situated close to the front left -hand corner of the house adjacent to the entrance off Village Way.

T2.          A Cypress tree approximately 15m in height, situated to the right-side of the False Acacia trees (T1).  The tree is a little wide spreading.

T3.          A line of four Lime trees all approximately 16m in height, situated on the side boundary bordering Village Way.  The trees are a little wide spreading.

T4.          A Cypress hedge approximately 6m in height, situated along the right-hand side boundary and bottom boundary with Pond Mead.  The tree is a little tall.

T5.          A Cedar tree approximately 18m in height, situated in a central location of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Removal of quite significant dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The basic shape should be retained.

T2.          Trim back from the house as necessary whilst retaining green foliage and not exposing the inner dead wood.

T3.          Selected branches encroaching over the garden to be trimmed back by up to 2m by pruning at convenient growth points including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T4.          Reduce in height by up to 1.5m and the side growth clipped back to a vertical face.

T5.          Lightly thin by 15% including the removal of any dead wood and necessary shortening of long lateral branches to the left side in order to redress the balance.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is essential to prune branches at convenient growth points.
