Specie and Location of Tree

Tree ID 7642       A Wild Cherry tree approximately 9.4m in height, situated in the rear garden.  The tree is in moribund condition (terminal decline).

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID 7642       Remove to ground level.  Stump grinding permitted.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Sorbus intermedia                                          (Swedish whitebeam)

Robinia pseudoacacia “Casque Rouge”    (Casque Rogue false Acacia)

Davidia involucrate                                        (Dove tree)

The new tree to be procured in line with BS3936 [1992] – ‘standard’ (8-10cm stem circumference).  The new tree is to be planted during the November 2026 and March 2027 planting season.
