Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Red Oak tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the front boundary with Townley Road.  The tree is a little dense and low growing.

T2.          A Magnolia tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the left-side of the front garden close to the house.  The tree is a little tall and dense.

T3.          A Red Oak tree approximately 15m in height, situated to the left-side of the rear garden to the front of the garage.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading towards the house.

T4.          A Magnolia tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary mid-way down the rear garden.  The tree is a little wide spreading.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood, lifting of low branches up to the main forking of the trunk, and trimming back from the house.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T2.          The height to be reduced by up to 1m and the side growth shortened proportionally to form a more compact specimen, separate from the nearby Oak.

T3.          Crown thin up to 20% including the removal of dead wood, lifting of low branches, and necessary re-shaping.  A low branch encroaching towards the house should be trimmed back to the main trunk whilst retaining the height and basic shape.

T4.          The height to be reduced by up to 10% and the side growth shortened proportionally to form a more compact specimen.
