Proposal:

Species and Location of Tree

A False Acacia tree approximately 12m in height, situated on the front boundary with Tollgate Drive.  The tree is in declining health with sparse foliage in the crown.  There is new leaf emerging.

Description of Approved Works

Reduce in height to approximately 6m and allow to regenerate, including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.

Alternatively, the tree may be removed.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a nearby location of the front garden and below are the three alternative-species for consideration:

Robinia pseudoacacia ‘Frisia        (Yellow False Acacia)

Paulownia tomentosa                    (Foxglove tree)

Albizzia julibrissin                             (Silk tree
