Proposal:

Species and Location of Tree

A Cherry tree approximately 6m in height, situated close to the bottom left-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.  The tree will be sited too close to an approved rear extension.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the roots grubbed out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, two replacement trees are to be planted in a suitable location of the rear garden and below are the four alternative species for consideration:

Crataegus prunifolia        (Cockspur Thorn)

Acer griseum                      (Paperbark Maple)

Prunus Autumnalis          (Winter flowering Cherry)

Sorbus aucuparia              (Rowan)

The trees should be planted within 6 months of the removal of the Cherry tree. and supplied as extra heavy standards with a stem girth of between 16-18cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3.5m.
