Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.  A mature Oak tree approximately 15m in height, situated on the right-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is a       little dense and wide-spreading.

T2.  A mature and twin-stemmed Holly tree approximately 10m in height, situated in the front left corner of the garden            adjacent to Sydenham Hill.  The tree is in poor health with very sparse foliage and is dying.

Description of Approved Works

T1.  Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary shortening of branches on the left side of                the tree whilst retaining the natural balance.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T2.  Remove and the stump ground out.

Details of Replacement Required

 T2.  As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a nearby location of the front                 garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

                                   Robinia pseudoacacia              (False Acacia)

                                   Fagus sylvatica ‘Purpurea’       (Purple Beech)

                                   Tilia cordata                           (Small leafed Lime)
