Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A Cherry tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the front boundary with Sydenham Hill to the left of the entrance.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T2.         A Silver Birch tree approximately 10m in height, situated on the front boundary to the left of the Cherry tree (T1) above.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood, lifting of low branches, and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T2.         Lightly thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood, snag end branches. and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  Again, it is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
