Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removal of Tree ID 8241 above, a replacement Cornus kousa. tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden.
The new tree should be planted during the October 2026 and March 2027 planting season and at a minimum height of 1.5m.
To ensure the new tree thrives, it must be supported with a suitable stake to prevent "wind-rock" while the roots establish. The tree will require regular watering during the first two growing seasons (ideally using a 75-litre capacity tree watering bag), specifically from April to September. Please note that if the tree dies or becomes diseased within five years of planting, it must be replaced with a new specimen of the same specification.
