Species and Location of Trees

Tree ID 7803      An Oak tree approximately 21.3m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID 7804      A Sycamore tree (a group of 3) approximately 7.1m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID 7805      An Oak tree approximately 13.5m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID 7806      A Sweet Chestnut tree approximately 12.3m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID 7803      Remove major deadwood throughout crown, natural target pruning.

Tree ID 7804      Fell to ground level and treat with systemic herbicide (eco-plugs).

Tree ID 7805      Remove major deadwood.

Tree ID 7806      Create monolith structure at approximately 7m above ground level. (Possible bird nesting).

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of Tree ID 7804 above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Betula pendula                (Silver Birch)

Carpinus betulus              (Hornbeam)

Castanea sativa               (Sweet Chestnut)

The new tree is to be planted by March 2027.  Tree to be procured in line with BS3936 [1992] – ‘standard’ (8-10cm stem circumference)

Tree ID 7806 – No replacement required.
