Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A self-sown Ash tree approximately 15m in height, situated in the bottom left-hand corner of the rear garden.

T2.         An Indian Bean tree (Catalpa) approximately 6m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.

T3.         A Honey Locust tree (Gleditscia) is situated on the right-and side boundary of the rear garden, slightly closer to the house than T2 above.  The tree is very dense.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T2.         Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and selected branches to create a more open specimen.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T3.         Crown thin by 25% including the removal of dead wood and selected branches to create a more open specimen.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of (T1) above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a nearby location of the rear garden and below is the agreed specie:

Betula jacquemontii                     (Silver Birch)
