Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A multi-stemmed Magnolia tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated close to the house on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is a little out of shape and leaning at an acute angle.

T2.          An Oak tree approximately 16m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary midway down the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense.

T3.          A Cherry tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the front garden. The tree is a little dense.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Re- shape to form a more compact specimen and crown thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood.

T2.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.  Ivy should also be removed where possible.

T3.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of a small stem at the base of the trunk together with dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.
