Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Yew tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is out of shape.

T2.          A Holm Oak tree approximately 6m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T3.          A Prunus tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is dead.

T4.          A Yew tree approximately 6m in height, situated in the left-hand corner of the front garden adjacent to Red Post Hill.  The tree is a little dense.

T5.          A Holm Oak sapling approximately 4m in height, situated close to the Yew Tree (T4) in the front garden.  The tree is badly sited with a poor shape.

T6.          Two Copper Beech trees approximately 6m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the front garden.  The trees are a little tall and out of shape.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Reduce in height by approximately 1m and the sides clipped back proportionally to form a more rounded compact specimen.

T2.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T3.          Remove by felling at ground level.

T4.          Reduce in height by approximately 1m and the sides clipped back proportionally to form a more rounded specimen.

T5.          Remove.

T6.          Crown thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping, the height may be reduced by up to 2m by pruning at convenient growth points.
