Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.       A triple-stemmed Ornamental Cypress tree approximately 7.5 in height, situated on the front boundary with Red Post Hill.  One stem is completely dead and the remaining stems are dying.

T2.       A Horse Chestnut tree approximately 15m in height, situated in a central location on the bottom boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is dying and a large bough in the upper crown has fallen and is lodged within the canopy of the tree.

Description of Approved Works

T1.       Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T2.       Remove and the stump ground out.

Details of Replacement Required

T1.       As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a suitable location of the front garden and below are the agreed alternative species for consideration:

Magnolia

Acer

T2.       As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three-alternative species for consideration:

Crataegus prunifolia                 (Cockspur Thorn)

Liquidambar straciflua              (Sweet Gum of N America)

Tilia x euchlora                        (Lime (non-drip))
