Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.       A Copper Beech tree approximately 14m in height, situated in the rear garden close to the rear left corner of the building adjacent to the conservatory.  The tree is a little dense and wide-spreading.

T2.       A Wych Elm tree approximately 12m in height, situated near the left-side boundary of the rear garden close to the house.  The tree is a little dense and wide-spreading.

T3.       A triple-stemmed False Acacia tree approximately 18m in height, situated on the left-side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree has some dead wood in the crown.

T4.       A Sycamore tree approximately 16m in height is situated in the rear garden on the right-side boundary opposite the flank wall of the property.  The tree is a little dense and wide-spreading.

T5.       A self-sown Elder tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is a little wide-spreading.

T6.       A Yew tree approximately 10m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the front garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide-spreading.

T7.       A Bay tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the left-side of the front garden.

T8.       A Horse Chestnut tree approximately 15m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary adjacent to East Dulwich Grove.  The tree is a little dense and wide-spreading.

Description of Approved Works

T1.       Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary trimming back from the roof and guttering.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T2.       Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and lifting of low branches.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T3.       Removal of all dead wood, lifting of low branches and necessary trimming back from Red Post Hill.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T4.       Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary trimming back from the two properties either side of the tree.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T5.       Trim back to the boundary and re-shape as necessary.

T6.       Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary trimming back to the boundary.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T7.       Clip round to a formal shape as before.

T8.       Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.
