Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A twin stemmed Cypress tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated in the small front garden.  The tree is far too large for its location.

T2.          A group of four Cypress trees approximately 18m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary at the bottom of the rear garden. 

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T2.          Fell at ground level and the stumps poisoned or preferably removed.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of (T1) above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a suitable location of the front garden and below and the three alternative species for consideration:

Amelanchier lamarckii    (Snowy Mespilus)

Acer griseum                      (Paperbark Maple)

Laburnum x vossii            (Golden Chain)

The tree should be planted this planting season between November 2021 and March 2022 with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 2.5m.
