Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Cherry tree approximately 5m in height, situated between nos.5 and 6.   The tree is a little dense.

T2.          A Sorbus tree approximately 5.5m in height, situated between nos. 7 & 8.  The tree is a little dense, it is also lifting the surrounding paving thereby causing a trip hazard.

T3.          A Bay tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated between nos. 7 & 8.  The tree is a little too high.

T4.          A Sorbus tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated between nos. 7 & 8.  The tree is a little dense.

T5.          A Bay tree approximately 6m in height, situated between nos. 7 & 8.  The tree is a little too tall.

T6.          A variegated Acer tree approximately 5.5m in height, situated in the paved area.

T7.          A Bay tree approximately 6m in height, situated opposite the main entrance.

T8.          A Willow tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated opposite the main entrance.  The has significant dieback in the crown.

T9.          A Cherry tree approximately 6m in height, situated opposite the main entrance.

T10.        A Silver Birch tree approximately 10m in height, situated to the left side.

T11.        A Crab Apple tree approximately 6m in height, situated to the left side.

T12.        A Cherry tree approximately 5m in height, situated to the left side.

T13.        A Cherry tree approximately 5.5m in height, situated to the left side.

T14.        A Cherry tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated to the left side.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Crown thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood, lifting of low branches, and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T2.          The tree should be retained, and crown thinned by 15% including the removal of dead wood and water shoots, lifting of low branches, and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic structure of the canopy should be retained.  The effected paving slabs should be lifted and the roots causing the damage should be cut back as necessary and the paving re-laid to an even surface.

T3.          Reduce in height by up to 40% and round off proportionally.

T4.          Crown thin by 25% including the removal of dead wood and water shoots, lifting of low branches, and necessary re-shaping.  The height may be reduced by 30%.

T5.          Reduce in height by up to 30% and round off proportionally.  Selected small stems should be severed at the base of the trunk.

T6.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood, and necessary re-shaping.

T7.          Reduce in height by up to 20% and clip to a more formal shape.

T8.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and water shoots, and the removal of one low branch over the adjacent car park.

T9.          Crown thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood and water shoots, lifting of low branches, and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.

T10.        Crown thin by 20% including the lifting of low branches.

T11.        Crown thin by 20% including the lifting of low branches.

T12.        Crown thin by 10% including the lifting of low branches.

T13.        Crown thin by 15% including the lifting of low branches.

T14.        Crown thin by 20% including the lifting of low branches.

T15.        Crown thin by 20% including the lifting of low branches.
