Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Hawthorn tree approximately 6m in height, situated in the front left-hand corner adjacent to Lovelace Road.  The tree has extensive decay at the base of the trunk.

T2.          Three dead trees approximately 5m -7.5m in height are situated close to the bottom boundary of the rear garden.

T3.          An unidentified twin-stemmed tree approximately 10m in height, situated close to the house on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide-spreading.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T2.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T3.          A low stem encroaching over the garden should be removed by pruning at the main trunk, the remaining crown should be thinned by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

Details of Replacement Required

T1.          As a condition of the removal of T1 above, a replacement tree should be planted in a nearby location of the front garden and below is the agreed specie:

T2.          None.  The garden is well stocked.
