Tree ID T1 A Beech tree approximately 9m in height.

Tree ID T13 An Ash tree approximately 20m in height. Ash die back present with recent limb failure on large lateral limb with heavy end loading.

Tree ID T12 An Ash tree approximately 18m in height.
Tree ID G3 A Cypress tree approximately 2m in height. The tree is in terminal decline.

Description of Approved Works
Tree ID T1 Clear stem to 2.4m above ground level. Laterally reduce to 1m away from garage.
Tree ID T3 Reduce back to previous pollard points as pollarding is now lapsed.
Tree ID T4 Fell and treat with systemic herbicide (Eco-Plug).
Tree ID T5 Pollard to previous pollard points to reduce pressure on decay point.
Tree ID T10 Re-pollard at 4m due to decay and reduce adjacent tree T2 {possibly T8?} by 2m to compensate for loss of companion shelter.
Tree ID G2 Re-pollard stem.
Tree ID G4 Remove Bay Laurel.
Tree ID T11 Fell to ground level and remove stump – replant with same species in planting season following removal.
Tree ID G5 Reduce Elder stem closest to the wall back to ground level.
Tree ID T13 Create pollard structure. Reduce by 8m back to closest growth points.
Tree ID T14 Remove deadwood over 50mm in diameter.
Tree ID T15 Deadwood removal.
Tree ID T12 Re-pollard.
Tree ID G3 Remove.
Tree ID G1 Remove 2 x dead stems.

Details of Replacement Required
T4. As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Acer griseum (Paperbark maple)
Acer palmatum “fireglow” (Japanese maple)
Acer campestre “Nanum” (Nanum field maple)
The new tree should be planted by March 2027.
Tree to be procured in line with BS3936 [1992] – ‘standard’ (8-10cm stem circumference).
G4. As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Ilex x altaclerensis “Golden King” (Golden King variegated holly)
Ilex aquifolium “Alaska” (Alaskan Holly)
Ilex castaneifolia (Sweet chestnut-leaved Holly)
The new tree should be planted by March 2027.
Tree to be procured in line with BS3936 [1992] – ‘standard’ (8-10cm stem circumference).
T11. As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Liquidambar styraciflua “Manon variegata” (Variegated sweetgum)
Gleditsia triacanthos “Ruby Lace” (Ruby Lace honey locust)
Parrotia persica “Vanessa” (Persian Ironwood Vanessa”)
The new tree should be planted by March 2027.
Tree to be procured in line with BS3936 [1992] – ‘standard’ (8-10cm stem circumference).
G3. As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location and below are the three alternative species for consideration:
Picea pungens “Hoopsii” (Colorado blue spruce)
Pinus mugo Mops (Swiss Mountain Pines)
Ilex aquifolium “Pyramidalis” (Pyramidal holly)
The new tree should be planted by March 2027.
Tree to be procured in line with BS3936 [1992] – ‘standard’ (8-10cm stem circumference).

Tilia henryana (Henry’s Lime)
Tilia mongolica (Mongolian Lime)
Ulmus carpinifolia “wredei Aurea” (Golden Horbeam leaved Elm)
The new tree should be planted by March 2027.
