Proposal:
Specie and Location of Tree
Tree ID 7580 A Lawsons Cypress tree approximately 7m in height, situated to the left-hand side of the Church on the lawned area. A new route is required for a safe and accessible pathway avoiding steps to the church hall. The tree is blocking the only viable access route.

Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removal of the above, two replacement trees are to be planted in a convenient location one to the left-hand side of the original tree and the other to the left-hand side of the community centre and below are a selection of two alternative species for each position for consideration:
- By the original site –
Prunus sargentii (single pink flowering Cherry)
Malus trilobata (white flowering Crab apple tree with maple like leaves)
- In the lawn area to the left of the community centre, an evergreen species - Magnolia grandiflora (evergreen Magnolia with large scented white flowers through the Summer)
Eriobotrya japonica (Loquat tree with glossy leaves and yellow fruits in hot summers)
The new tree should be planted during the October 2026 and March 2027 planting season (depending when works are completed) with a minimum stem girth of between 10-12cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 2.5m.
