Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A Cypress tree approximately 8m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden.  There is significant dieback in the upper crown.

Description of Approved Works

The tree can either be reduced in height to live wood and re-shaped as necessary or removed altogether by felling at ground level. 

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Sorbus aucuparia                              (Rowan)

Crataegus ‘Paul’s Scarlet’              (Crimson May tree)

Acer japonicum                                 (Japanese Maple)
