Specie and Location of Tree
Tree ID 8349 A standing dead wood tree approximately 3m in height, situated on the far left-hand side of the rear garden. The tree is covered in Ivy.
Description of Approved Works
Tree ID 8349 Remove.
Details of Replacement Required
As a condition of the removal of the above tree ID: 8349, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location in the rear garden, below are a selection of three small alternative species for consideration:
Prunus amanogawa (flagpole Cherry)
Amelanchier lamarckii (Juneberry)
Euonymus europaeus (Spindle Tree)
The new tree should be planted during the October 2026 and March 2027 planting season with a stem girth of between 6-8cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 1.5m.
Planting and Aftercare Specifications
To ensure the new tree thrives, it must be supported with a suitable stake to prevent "wind-rock" while the roots establish. The tree will require regular watering during the first two growing seasons (ideally using a 75-litre capacity tree watering bag, refilled once or twice per week), specifically from April to September. Please note that if the tree dies or becomes diseased within five years of planting, it must be replaced with a new specimen of the same specification.
