Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A Norway Maple tree approximately 10m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the front garden.  The tree is far too large for its location

T2.         A triple stemmed Cotoneaster tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the right-hand side of the driveway bordering Hitherwood Drive.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Crown reduce by 25% to approximately eaves height, and crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping to form a more compact specimen.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points where possible.

T2.         Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
