Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A Lime tree approximately 6m in height, situated in the bottom left-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is dead.

T2.         A multi-stemmed Snowy Mespilus tree (Amelanchier) approximately 5m in height, situated close to the left-hand side boundary of the front garden.  The tree is a little out of shape.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T2.         Lightly thin and reduced in height by approximately 1.5m and re-shape as necessary.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Betula jacquemontii                     (Silver Birch)

Crataegus prunifolia                     (Cockspur Thorn)

Koelreuteria paniculata               (Pride of India)

The tree should be planted with a stem girth of girth at 1.00M above ground level and a minimum height of 3m.
