Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

Tree ID 8288       A Eucalyptus tree approximately 13m in height, situated on the right-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is too tall for its location.

Tree ID 8289       A Turkey Oak tree approximately 15m in height, situated centrally positioned along the far boundary of the rear garden.

Tree ID 8290       A Silver Birch tree approximately 9m in height, situated towards the right-hand end boundary of the rear garden.

Tree ID 8291       A Black Locust tree approximately 10m in height, situated towards the far left-hand side of the rear garden.  The upper crown is relatively dense.

Tree ID 8292       A Honey Locust tree approximately 8m in height, situated towards the middle of the left-hand side of the rear garden.  The upper crown is relatively dense.

Tree ID 8293       A Bay tree approximately 5.5m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is becoming too large for its position.

Tree ID 8294       A Scots Pine tree approximately 3.5m in height, situated close to the house in the rear garden.  The tree is unsuitable for its current position due to its proximity to the house and its eventual mature size.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID 8288       Reduce the height by approximately 3.5 m, cutting back to suitable existing growth points and reshaping the crown to retain a natural appearance.

Tree ID 8289       Thin the upper crown by approximately 20%, with selective removal of some of the longest and highest branches to reduce overall height (by up to 1m) and crown density while retaining a natural form. All pruning cuts should be made back to suitable growth points or branch junctions. The works should not result in a pollarded appearance or the creation of stubs.

Tree ID 8290       Lightly thin areas of localised congestion by up to 10%. No other works are permitted.

Tree ID 8291       Thin the internal growth within the upper crown by approximately 20%, using selective pruning to retain a balanced and natural crown structure. The height and basic shape should remain the same.

Tree ID 8292       Thin the internal growth within the upper crown by approximately 20%, using selective pruning to retain a balanced and natural crown structure. The height and basic shape to remain the same.

Tree ID 8293       Thin the internal growth within the upper crown by approximately 20%, using selective pruning to retain a balanced and natural crown structure. The height and basic shape to remain the same.

Tree ID 8294       Remove.
