Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A Crab Apple tree (Malus) approximately 9m in height, situated close to the house on the right-hand side boundary of the front garden.  The tree is dead.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the roots grubbed out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a nearby and suitable location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Laburnum x vossii           (Golden Chain)

Albizzia julibrissin           (Silk tree)

Crataegus prunifolia       (Cockspur Thorn)

The tree should be planted this planting season between November 2020 and March 2021 with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 2.5m.
