Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

Tree ID 7487      A Mimosa tree approximately 6m in height, situated on the far boundary towards the right-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is extremely vigorous for its location.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID 7487      Remove and replace with 2 or 3 evergreen pleached trees to provide screening without encroaching.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, two or three replacement pleached trees are to be planted in a similar location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Photinia                             (Red Robin)

Ilex aquifolium                 (Holly)

Ligustrum japonicum      (Japanese Privet)

The new trees should be planted during the October 2026 and March 2027 planting season with a minimum height of 2.5m to ensure the maximum screening above the fence height.
