Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

Tree ID 6249       An Oak tree approximately 16m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the rear garden.  This large tree requires some specific pruning to improve its health, appearance, and to manage its size, especially where it extends over neighbouring properties.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID 6249    Thinning: A general thinning of the crown by up to 10%. This will focus on removing overcrowded small branches inside the crown to improve light penetration and air circulation throughout the canopy.

Crown Reduction: The tree's overall shape will be improved by reducing longer lateral branches by up to 1.5m.  This is particularly important for branches that extend over the neighbouring properties to maintain a balanced shape and reduce potential issues.
