Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Laburnum tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated close to the front boundary.  The tree is a little out of shape.

T2.          An Elder tree situated close to the house on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.

T3.          A Cherry tree approximately 6m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T4.          A Cherry tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary towards the bottom of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading

T5.          A Griselinia tree approximately 6m in height, situated towards the bottom left-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Crown thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood and lifting of low branches to the left side, also a vertical stem growing through the main canopy should be removed at the trunk.

T2.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T3.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
