Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Cherry tree approximately 2.5m in height, situated on the front boundary.  The tree is sited too close to a dwarf wall.

T2.          A line of Cypress trees approximately 2.5m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden.

T3.          A line of Cypress trees approximately 12m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden.  The trees are a little dense and wide-spreading.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T2.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T3.          Reduce in height by up to 30% and the side growth clipped back as much as possible whilst retaining green foliage and not exposing the inner dead wood.

Details of Replacement Required

T1.          As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the front garden and below are the three-alternative species for consideration:

Amelanchier lamarckii    (Snowy Mespilus)

Crataegus prunifolia        (Cockspur Thorn)

Magnolia soulangeana   (Magnolia)

T2.          As a condition of the removal of the above, a new hedge should be planted.
