Proposal:

Species and Location of Tree

A Prunus (Cherry) tree situated on the right-hand side boundary of the entrance of Eastlands Crescent and adjacent to the road boundary.  The tree fell during high winds.

Description of Approved Works

Remove the tree and the remaining stump to be ground out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a suitable location of the front garden and below are the two alternative species for consideration:

Prunus sargentii                                                (Red Cherry)

Prunus cerasifera ‘Atropurpurea’              (Purple Leafed Plum)

The tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 14-16m at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
