Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A twin-stemmed Malus tree approximately 5.5.m height, situated in the left-hand corner of the front garden, adjacent to Eastlands Crescent.  The tree is dead.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the stump ground out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Acer griseum                      (Paperbark Maple)

Arbutus unedo                  (Strawberry tree)

Laburnum x vossii            (Golden Chain)

The tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
