Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          Three Lime trees and a Maple tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the front boundary with Dulwich Wood Avenue.  The trees are a little tall and dense.

T2.          An Oak tree approximately 16m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden adjacent to, and overhanging Farquhar Road.  The tree is leaning at a fairly acute angle.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Re-pollard at previous pollarding pruning points.

T2.          Remove two branches in the upper crown on the leaning side of the tree over Farquhar Road in order to help redress the balance, the remaining crown may be thinned by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points where possible.
