Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A Eucalyptus tree approximately 12m in height, situated in the front left-hand corner adjacent to the road.  The tree is too large for its location.

T2.         A Juniper tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated close to the house on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is too large for its locations.

 

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Remove and the stump ground out.

T2.         Remove and the stump ground out.

 

Details of Replacement Required

T1.         As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a nearby location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Arbutus unedo                (Strawberry tree)

Paulownia tomentosa    (Foxglove tree)

Davidia involucrata        (Pocket Handkerchief tree)

The new tree should be planted during the November 2023 and March 2024 planting season with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.

 

T2.         As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a nearby location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Cercis siliquastrum         (Judas tree)

Acer davidii                      (Snakebark Maple)

Halesia carolina               (Snowdrop tree)

The new tree should be planted during the November 2023 and March 2024 planting season with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
