Description of Approved Works

Tree ID 8022      Remove.

Tree ID 8023      Remove.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of Trees ID8022 and 8023 above, two replacement trees are to be planted in a convenient location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Sorbus aucuparia                          (Rowan)

Malus sylvestris ‘Evereste’           (Crab Apple)

Prunus padus                                 (Bird Cherry)

Planting should be during the October 2026 and March 2027 planting season with a stem girth of between 8-12cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 1.8m.

To ensure the new tree thrives, it must be supported with a suitable stake to prevent "wind-rock" while the roots establish.  The tree will require regular watering during the first two growing seasons, specifically from April to September (installation of watering bags recommended) Please note that if the tree dies or becomes diseased within five years of planting, it must be replaced with a new specimen of the same specification.
