Species and Location of Trees

Tree ID 7836      A Red Hazel tree approximately 7.2m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID 7837      A False Acacia tree approximately 7.2m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID 7838      A Yew tree approximately 1.8m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID 7839      A Sycamore tree approximately 22.2m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID 7836      Remove dead stems, creation of pollard structure on remaining limbs through 4.5m reduction back to closest growth point.

Tree ID 7837      Fell tree to ground level and treat with systemic herbicide (eco-plug).  Grinding not permitted.

Tree ID 7838      Fell tree to ground level and treat with systemic herbicide (eco-plug).  Grinding not permitted.

Tree ID XXXX      Clear epicormic growth to approx5m above ground level.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of Tree ID 7837 above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Crataegus x lavallei Carrierei      (Lavallei Hawthorn)

Ilex x altaclerensis ‘Golden King’ (Golden King Holly)

Sorbus hupehensis          (White Berry Rowan)

The new tree is to be planted by March 2027.  Tree to be procured in line with BS3936 [1992] – ‘standard’ (8-10cm stem circumference)

Tree ID 7838      Replacement not required.
