Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A Copper Beech tree approximately 16m in height, situated on the left-hand side of the driveway on the front boundary with Dulwich Village.  The tree is dead.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the stump ground out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Platanus hispanica           (London Plane)

Robinia pseudoacacia     (False Acacia)

Aesculus carnea                (Red Chestnut)

The tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 22-24cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 4.5m.  The new tree should be planted during the November 2021 and March 2022 planting season.
