Species and Location of Trees

Tree ID 8323     A Manna Ash tree approximately 13m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID 8324     A Holly tree approximately 4m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID 8325     A Hawthorn tree approximately 5.5m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID 8326     A Yew tree approximately 4m in height, situated in the rear garden.

Tree ID 8239     A Lawsons Cypress tree approximately 7m in height, situated on the far right-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is lacking vitality with dead wood and sparse green foliage.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID 8323     Reduce by 1.5m back to closest growth point.

Tree ID 8324     Fell to ground level and treat with systemic herbicide.

Tree ID 8325     Clear epicormic growth to 2.4m above ground level.

Tree ID 8326     Clear basal growth to 1.5m above ground level.  Reduce northern branches (towards outdoor kitchen) by up to 50cm and height by up to 50cm to create tighter form/shape.

Tree ID 8239       Remove

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of Tree ID 8239 above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are three alternative species for consideration:

Ilex aquifolium ‘Argentea Marginata’ –   (Broad leaved silver holly)

Ilex x Nellie Stevens –                                    (Nellie Stevens Holly)

Taxus baccata ‘Fastigiata’ –                       (Irish yew)

 The new tree to be procured in line with BS3936 [1992] – ‘standard’ (8-10cm stem circumference) and is to be planted by March 2027.

A replacement tree is not required for Tree ID 8234
