Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.   A mature Purple Plum tree approximately 6m in height, situated on the front boundary with Dulwich Common.                   The tree is a little dense and wide-spreading.

T2.   A Cypress tree approximately 10m in height, situated on the front boundary to the right of the entrance off                       Dulwich Common.

T3.   A self-sown Ash tree approximately 10m in height, situated in a central location towards the bottom of the rear                 garden.  The tree is close to a more important Liquidambar tree.

T4.   Two Cypress trees approximately 20m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden.  The trees               are a little tall.

T5.   A Prunus tree approximately 6m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree             is in poor health and is dying.

Description of Approved Works

 T1.   Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and water shoots.  The height and basic shape should be          retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or              pollarding which is not permitted.

T2.    Re-shape as necessary to form a more compact specimen.

T3.    Remove.

T4.    Reduce in height by up to 30% and re-shape as necessary.

T5.    Remove with the roots grubbed out.
