Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          Two self-sown Sycamore trees approximately 10m in height, situated in the bottom right-hand corner of the rear garden.  The trees are badly sited.

T2.          A Eucalyptus tree approximately 10m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary towards the bottom of the rear garden.  The tree is badly sited and will become far too large for its location.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Remove and the stumps ground out.

T2.          Remove and the stump ground out or poisoned.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of (T2) above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Arbutus unedo                  (Strawberry tree)

Koelreuteria paniculate (Pride of India)

Laburnum x vossii            (Golden Chain)

The tree should be planted during the November 2021 and March 2022 planting season with a stem girth of between 14016cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
