Proposal:

Species and Location of Tree

A Cypress tree approximately 10m in height, situated in the front right-hand corner adjacent to Croxted Road.  The tree is a little low growing and wide spreading.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the stump ground out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Liquidambar styraciflua                 (Sweet Gum of N America)

Prunus cerasus ‘Atropurpurea’  (Purple Plum)

Ginkgo biloba                                     (Maidenhair tree)

 

The tree should be planted with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3.5m.
