Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

Tree ID T1           A Copper Beech tree approximately 24m in height, situated in the front garden.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID T1           Fell to ground level.  Due to proximity of large plane in adjacent garden, stump removal through grinding cannot take place. However, use of an augur would be acceptable.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree should be planted in a convenient location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Liquidambar styraciflua “Slender Silhouette”              (Slender Silhouette sweetgum)

Pinus sylvestris “Fastigiata”  ]                                         (Sentinel Pine)

Sorbus  commixta “embley”                                            (Chinese scarlet rowan)

The new tree is to be planted by March 2027.

Tree to be procured in line with BS3936 [1992] – ‘standard’ (8-10cm stem circumference)
