Species and Location of Trees

Tree ID 5877       An Oak tree approximately 17m in height, situated in the front garden on the norther drive entrance.

Tree ID 5878       An Austrian Pine tree approximately 16m in height, situated in the front garden midway on pavement boundary.

Tree ID 5879       A Prunus tree approximately 8m in height, situated in the front garden close to the southern boundary.

Tree ID 5880       A Lawson Cypress tree approximately 16m in height, situated on the north-eastern side of the property.

Tree ID 5882       A Lawson Cypress tree approximately 20m in height, situated in the rear garden close to the house.

Tree ID 5883       A Sweet Chestnut tree approximately 13m in height, situated in the rear garden behind Tree ID 5882 above.

Tree ID 5884       A London Plane tree.

Tree ID 5885       A Lawson Cypress tree approximately 14m in height, situated in the rear garden close to the property.

Description of Approved Works

Tree ID 5877       Dead wood to be removed in the lower crown overhanging the pavement.

Tree ID 5878       Dead wood to be removed in the lower crown overhanging the pavement.

Tree ID 5879       Dead high stem to be removed and smaller dead wood in the lower canopy towards the property.

Tree ID 5880       Height to be reduced to match the line of Cypress to the left-hand side, reducing by approximately 25%. This will also give some clearance from the adjacent Spruce tree.

Tree ID 5882       Visible internal dead wood to be removed in the lower canopy. The crown also to be gently re-shaped by reducing the longest growths all over by up to 1m, importantly not revealing brown growth and retaining its natural form.

Tree ID 5883       One dead branch to be removed on the south-eastern axis over pathway.

Tree ID 5884       Lateral limbs on the eastern axis towards the pool to be trimmed back by up to 2m to control overhang into garden and improve view of the Purple Beech behind. Pruning should be targeted at natural growth points and a natural form should be retained.

Tree ID 5885       Side stems that have fallen (x3 hanging down from main crown) to be trimmed back if needed to a side branch and the tree to have a suitable strap installed at about 7m from ground level to support all stems together.
