Proposal:

A Cypress tree approximately 3m in height, situated close to the house on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is sited too close to a very well-shaped Japanese Maple.

Remove and the roots grubbed out.

A replacement is not necessary as the garden is well stocked with trees.
